Residents that live in the 10 mile EPZ can stop in the Health District office Monday - Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. to pick up KI  tablets (Potassium Iodide).

KI Business Request Form - Businesses can complete the request form mail or fax in the request or they can contact the Lake County General Health District at 440-350-2543 and submit a request.  Once the order has been filled we will contact the business to pick up their order.

How do I dispose of expired KI?

According to the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency, KI can be treated as solid waste and
disposed of in landfills as regular garbage. If you have expired KI in your home (lot number
P200212) you may dispose of it via your household trash.
