Looking for motivated people interested in driving our mosquito control spray trucks. Working to prevent mosquito illnesses.
Hours: Variable, usually 4-5 hours Monday -Thursday, starting 1 hour before sunset. Spray schedule will depend on mosquito population and weather.
Minimum Requirements:
- Valid State of Ohio driver’s license, in good standing and automobile insurance
- Must be a high school graduate
- Basic computer skills
- Good interpersonal relationship skills including cultural sensitivity and competence
- Regular attendance and punctuality
- Ability to serve as a member of a team
- Must be able to read and understand written instructions, basic math skills, and understand the safe handling of pesticides
Responsibilities: Will include but NOT limited to:
- Apply mosquito pesticide using our truck mounted sprayers.
- Maintain accurate records of mosquito pesticide application and daily work activities
- Represents the Board of Health in a professional manner when dealing with community officials and the general public
Salary: $15.oo/hour
