The Health Fair will be held in the Health Technologies Building at Lakeland Community College located at 7700 Clocktower Drive in Kirtland from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. The health fair is open to the public and will provide free health screenings including, but not limited to blood pressure checks, cholesterol, glucose (sugar level), blood oxygen level, Body Mass Index (BMI), stroke risk, fall risk assessments, and more. The health fair is a great opportunity to learn about local organizations and experts in and around Lake County, Ohio.
“Regular health screenings are an excellent way for people of all ages to take charge of their health and prevent future health issues,” commented Ron Graham, Health Commissioner of Lake County General Health District. “We are proud to be part of this very important event.”
“One out of four older adults fall each year,” stated Bill Atterbury, owner of Osteostrong in Willoughby, Ohio. “Get your free Fall Risk Assessment and learn how you can reduce your risk of injuries and broken bones by strengthening your bones and improving your balance.”
